MOTIVATION
The poet Roberto Maggiani is an astrophysicist. This is the reason why he is inclined to combine cosmology with poetry, as shown in his unpublished collection “L’esistenza” (The Existence). The description of a disc of gas rings rotating on a cosmic record-player with the vortex of the so-called Black Hole at the center; a vision that suggests the greed of the omnivorous Moloch.
The child who lives inside the poet miniaturizes the gigantic star device, obtaining a transparent box, a toy, a kaleidoscope of poetic style. A place where time precedes itself and goes beyond what will come next.
